Bloc Party Bouldering Comp 8/27. Pre-registration ends 8/10. Oakley Bouldering walls will be stripped starting 8/20. Monthly pass members can boulder at Blue Ash for free until after the comp from 8/21-27.

Bouldering Competition

Bloc Party is an annual contest that invites all boulderers, from beginners to advanced, to compete in a fun and welcoming way. Any member of the gym (and their guests) can participate.
$500 Cash Purse for Open Category
$3000 in prizes
Raffle, Food Truck and Beer
Top 4 male and female competitors advance to the onsight finals round. Stick around after the citizens competition to cheer on the open competitors during a World Cup format finals round!
Divisions:
Recreational (V0 - V3)
Intermediate (V3 - V6)
Advanced (V5 - V8)
Open (V8+)
Bouldering walls will be closed for competition reset the week leading up to the event and Oakley Gym will be closed to the public the day of the comp.
RRGCC Boulderthon

Comp from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
We will be hosting a Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition fundraising competition. Proceeds from this event will help support RRGCC in their efforts to secure and protect open, public access to rock climbing in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. Come out and help promote the conservation of the environment on the lands where we climb!

Gym will be opened to the public as usual during the competition, except the bouldering area.
